Well I know I don’t post much, but for any of those who still care (thank you!) I’ve been maintaining and shrinking in on and off cycles and have managed to keep things going in the right direction.
start weight was 76.5kgs /168 lbs dec 2010
start measurements: dec. 2010 bust :38.5 waist: 31.5 hips: 40 thigh: 24.25
current weight 70.5kgs/155 lbs
may 2012 bust :37.5 waist: 28.5 hips: 38 thigh 23.25
I AM ONLY 500 GRAMS (about a pound) AWAY FROM GOAL WEIGHT!!!
For exercise I do yoga, lots of walking, biking, and some easy outdoor sports (kicking the ball around, shooting hoops, ping pong, frisbee), and I try to do some strength training/mat exercises a couple of times a week (push ups, squats, plank holds, etc).
I have recently started an adults beginner ballet class too! It’s never too late!
Food has just gotten healthier recently too (switched to whole grains, upped my fruit and veg heaps, loads of smoothies), but still enjoy some not so healthy favourites when with friends (pizza, BBQs at the parks, etc).
Feeling good!
Summer is so inspiring for getting healthier and fit! Hope you guys are doing well!

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

I.AM.YOU. PRENATAL Routine to do at home. For all the PREGNANT LADIES aka Mommies to Be! I No excuses!
Safe yoga to perform during pregnancy.
(I tired one similar to this last week. It was pretty great. I felt so good afterwards!)
So I found some new online workout videos for prenatal exercises. This lady’s youtube channel looks pretty informative as well. I haven’t watched any of the other videos, just the 3 workout videos that I did this morning (below). But she’s got recipe, advice, and information videos about pregnancy…
“What you see here is a 70 pound difference. I grew up a bigger girl; but for 8 years of my life, I lived in a mental prison. I constantly counted calories and obsessively worked out to an unhealthy size 0 with 9% body fat. I lost my period for five years. My butt cheeks didn’t even touch! (Yep, you heard me…) Nothing mattered but performing my rituals and compulsions I conjured up in my head. I did not have any space in my brain to see the world around me, connect with people, and ultimately live. Constantly striving to be something else, you do not have time to think about the important things in life — friends, loved ones, learning, giving back, following your passions, etc. I was always thinking, “When I weigh ___, I’ll be happy… my life will be perfect.” This is the biggest lie in the world. Life is here, now. You cannot wait for a certain event or milestone to truly begin living your life.
So with time, countless doctors, helpful books, and role models in the plus industry, I began to heal. The transformation was not easy (it was actually quite hellish), but I made a decision to choose freedom. I started listening to my body and respecting it. I eat organic and all natural whole foods , and I love working out and being active. I want to prove to people that you can be healthy at any size. My motto is to just be as healthy as I can be (body, mind, & soul), and wherever I end up, is where I’m supposed to be . It is my passion to show people that once you are true to your authentic self, doors begin to open and you can truly live your life to the fullest.” —Heather Hazzan
